Mod Review: Power Auras

Power Auras is a nifty little mod that allows you to place in game aura effects that trigger on certain events. This makes it easier to know when you're low on health or mana, when you've been slowed, poisoned, stunned and many other events.
It's easy to configure, you have complete control over where the auras appear, what their animations look like, and how long they last.
By no means necessary, but pretty cool to have. I really enjoiy it for items or spells that proc and only last a short time; power auras makes sure you notice the proc.
Mod Review: Meta Map

Carter writes in with his recommendation for Mod Review:
I enjoy addons. Especially addons that take a basic feature implemented by blizzard and expands them for more bang for your buck.
One of these is Meta Map.
Meta Map is a extremely useful tool that takes blizzards basic map and makes it entirely customizable. For example, you can add notes, create a mob database that has respawn times and location, add coordinates, see a map of all zones and instances (with there own notes such as quest location and boss location), explore zones that are "hidden", and download notes that other people have created. You can also change transparency and size of map to fit your custom UI.
There are tons of things you can do with this mod to make your exploration of Azeroth and Outlands easier and more informative.
Mod Review: Lightheaded

If you've been listening to Wow Chronicles, you've probably heard me rave about Lightheaded in the past. It is by far, my favorite mod for World of Warcraft.
It allows you to read wowhead.com comments directly associated to the quest you click on in your quest log. You no longer have to alt-tab out to your desktop to open a browser to look it up because all the comments and juicy information people have already left on that quest are now basically in your quest log. But it gets even better than that. More after the jump.
